We are in the process of uploading new camera-trap images from remote Wolf Volcano—featuring giant tortoises, yellow iguanas, and critically endangered pink iguanas— they will soon be available for you to explore and help classify! Thanks for your patience.
Also, this project recently migrated onto Zooniverse’s new architecture. For details, see here.
This project is being undertaken by the Conservation team at Galápagos Conservancy. Project leads are Dr. Jorge Carrion (Director of Conservation) and Dr. James Gibbs (Vice President of Science and Conservation). Here Galapagos National Park rangers Fredy Azuero as well as Adrián Cueva, conservation technician at Galápagos Conservancy, who deployed many of the cameras used in the project, gather morphometric data from an adult yellow iguana. ©Galápagos Conservancy
