Finished! Looks like this project is out of data at the moment!
Congratulations! The dataset is complete! Thank you for helping identify our nighttime animals!
Also, this project recently migrated onto Zooniverse’s new architecture. For details, see here.

Western Shield has been managing the impact of feral foxes on Western Australia's native wildlife since 1996. The program aims to reduce both feral fox and feral cat numbers in our native bushland areas to help protect our sensitive native animals.
To help us keep a watchful eye on how our management is working we have set cameras in different areas of Western Australia. Some cameras are set in areas where we control for foxes and feral cats and others in areas with no fox or feral cat control. But we have thousands of images to sort through each week. You can help us by telling us what you see in an image. We need to know if you see a fox, cat or one of our wonderful native species.
Spy on the secret lives of our largely night active (nocturnal) animals and you might be lucky enough to spot a chuditch (or quoll, an Australian native marsupial predator), a malleefowl, a quenda (bandicoot) or wallaby. Enjoy.
