About Yooper Wildlife Watch

Yooper Wildlife Watch is a highly collaborative education and non-invasive research initiative designed to engage students from across the academic hierarchy (e.g., high school, undergraduate, graduate) in rigorous, authentic research to advance our understanding of wildlife ecology across varying landscapes in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This graduate student led-project in the Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Science Lab at Northern Michigan University will advance our knowledge of wildlife, as well as promote ecological education among diverse students and citizen scientists.
