Thousands of volunteers are helping out
We launched # everynamecounts in January 2020 as a pilot project with school students. The aim was to digitize our archival documents relating to Nazi persecutees and encourage people to engage with the fates of the victims. During the coronavirus pandemic, a growing number of people worldwide joined the project.
Giora Zwilling, head of the Collections and Workflows team for # everynamecounts and Deputy Head of the Archives, says:
