Thank you to nearly 2,000 volunteers who helped us sort the woylies from the tammars and the chuditch from the numbats! You helped us classify 307,088 photos and found 15,388 subjects - a mammoth effort!

Special thanks to our Top 10 classifiers:

  1. Gentoomichelle (11,413 classifications)
  2. garrett224 (10,858)
  3. Diolch (9,075)
  4. bof52 (8,427)
  5. Rodcave (7,910)
  6. GlendaB (6,714)
  7. RBMorden (6,618)
  8. southwestforestsecrets (5,541)
  9. Capt_Bob (5,357)
  10. GPR (4,637)

You classified 28 numbats, to an accuracy of 100%, confirmed against an expert.
The most common species identified was the western grey kangaroo, followed by the critically endangered woylie. The least-classified species was the ngwayir or western ringtail possum - not only is this species critically endangered but it also spends much of its time in tree canopies, making it hard to spot on camera! Feral species were classified in 93 subjects, with feral pigs, cats and foxes spotted.

We will likely have more images to upload in the next few months.
