The White Party was Miami's iconic HIV/AIDS fundraising event, held annually from 1985 to 2010 at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Preserving the history of this event is crucial to honoring and documenting local HIV/AIDS activism. The Miami AIDS Memorials Project, in collaboration with Florida International University (FIU) and the World AIDS Museum and Educational Center, is working to safeguard this history.
