ReDataReData (acronym of Recovery of Data) is the project that the Meteonetwork Association is carrying out together with the University of Milan and Politecnico di Milano. The project consists of the digitalisation of all meteorological data collected from 1879 to 1940 which were archived at the Royal Central Meteorological Office.
The preservation of these data, that risks being lost or deteriorated over time, is crucial.
The aim of ReData is to create a public dataset available to anyone who wants to carry out research in the climatological or historical field.
