As a keen knitter who researches women in 20th-century British literature and popular culture, this project combines two of my greatest enthusiasms! I can't wait to analyse and share the data collected by volunteers.

About Knitting Leaflet Project

To learn more about how knitting and knitwear developed in Britain during the twentieth century, Brunel University researcher Dr Ellie Reed wants to survey over 5000 pattern leaflets from the Knitting & Crochet Guild's Collection. To record data from these leaflets, she needs your help!

With thanks to the Knitting & Crochet Guild, for allowing images from their wonderful Collection to be shared in this project.
