Welcome to the Sky Sound project! We are recording around 200 echoes per day, but for now, we have only uploaded 50 initial samples to analyze the first results. Thank you for your collaboration in this scientific task!

You will be asked to classify some features of meteor echos. You don't need any astronomy knowledge, because we provide you instructions to help in any step! You can help astronomers to do it in two different ways: by sounds or by images.

We also want to compare the classification made by citizens with that made by software algorithms.
Sky SoundsSince 2019, we are recording meteors with radio stations installed in several locations in Spain. The Sky Sounds project aims to help astronomers to study the Solar System and, specifically, the more than 40 meteor showers that occur each year. We also have converted these data into sounds to bring astronomy closer to people with visual disabilities so that they can participate in this task. The collaboration of citizens is very important to help in this scientific task. The results obtained will allow astronomers to analyze the features of meteors. Join the project to classify some sounds or images!
